Description

No 8 Market Street is an 18th-century building that shares a similar design with No 10, although it has been painted and altered. The structure is three storeys high and features two windows. It is constructed of painted ashlar and has a cill string on the second floor. The roof is slate, topped with a brick chimney. The building has late glazed sash windows, which are adorned with mid-19th century ornamental pediments and fluted pilasters on either side. Additionally, there is a modern plate glass shop front.
