Description

10 and 11 Market Place are an early 18th-century building of four storeys and three windows. The building is constructed from ashlar stone with rustic quoins. It has a slate roof and two brick chimneys. The windows on the third floor are Yorkshire sash windows—two-light on the outside and four-light in the centre. All other windows are glazing bar sashes with moulded architraves. A 20th-century shop front has been added to the ground floor on the right-hand side, while a plain door with two small windows is located on the left. The building has group value.
