Description

The building at 7 and 9 Market Street dates from the early 19th century and is situated at a slight angle to number 51 Bondgate Within. It is a three-storey structure with two windows. The exterior is faced in plain ashlar, featuring a moulded eaves cornice. The roof is slate-covered with coped verges and two brick chimneys. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor now incorporates two 20th-century shop fronts which form a flat bow.
