Description
Nos 33 and 35 on Market Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand three storeys tall with three wide-spaced windows. They are constructed from plain ashlar stone and feature a moulded eaves cornice. The slate roof has coped verges and two brick chimneys. No 33 has two light casement windows, while No 35 has one glazing bar sash window on each floor, with a single hung window on the second floor. The ground floor of No 33 includes a mid 19th-century shop front that projects slightly and is adorned with lions' masks and carved fascia brackets. No 35 has a modern shop front. At the rear, there are two large gabled dormers.
