Description

The terrace on the east side and at the rear of No 39 Market Place dates from the mid-19th century, with some elements from the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and mainly features one window per unit. The windows are late glazed sash windows, with No 7A including glazing bars. The construction consists of rubble with dressed stone, while No 6 has a pebbledash finish. The roofs are slate with raised verges. The terrace has four-panel doors leading to a cobbled yard, and No 6 is fitted with casement windows.
