Description

The former Sion Meeting House, dated 1815, is a two-storey building located on the west side of St Michael's Lane. It features four windows on the main facade, with a two-storey, one-window wing to the right and a single-storey, two-window wing to the left. The structure is built of ashlar stone and has an eaves band, topped by a hipped slate roof. The windows are segmental-headed, with the original window in the right-hand wing on the first floor displaying 'Gothick' glazing, while the others feature late 2-light 'Y' glazing and sub-Art Nouveau style coloured glass. There are two doors, one in each wing, which are later ledged doors with heavy hinges and a depressed arch light above. An oval panel in the center of the main part reads "Sion Meeting House Erected 1815." The building is currently used as a warehouse.
