Description

The Cross House is a two-storey, three-window building on its south side and a one-window building on its north side, dating from the mid-19th century, before 1851. The south front is constructed of ashlar, featuring a first-floor sill course and eaves course. A central doorway provides access. A throughpassage, cobbled and paved, connects the north and south sides of Dodd's Lane on the east side of the building. The north front is of rubble construction. The windows are glazing bar sash windows. The roof is slate, with raised verges.
