Description

The Savings Bank, built in 1851, is a two-storey structure designed in the Georgian style. It features hipped slate roofs and brick chimneys. The Savings Bank section has three windows, with the central bay slightly projecting and topped with a pediment. A moulded eaves cornice extends over the adjacent properties, Nos 6 and 8, which are set back slightly and each have two windows. All windows are glazing bar sash windows. The Savings Bank has a central six-panel door, while Nos 6 and 8 have two plain doorways.
