Description

The Round House is a 19th-century dovecote located on Kidds Lane in Shepton Mallet. It is built from rubble with a tiled roof and features a single circular cell topped with a conical roof. The west side has a doorway with a plank door, while the north side has two 19th-century wooden casement windows with glazing bars. The roof has an apex stone set on a circular base. Inside, there are nesting boxes for doves.
