Description

The dovecote, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, is a small structure that was once part of a now-demolished building. It is constructed of ashlar sandstone and features a 20th-century clay interlocking tile roof. The dovecote is 1 and a half storeys tall and includes quoins. On the east side, there is a square-headed doorway with an internal rebate, bird-holes, and perching ledges above, along with copings. The west side has a slit vent. Inside, there is a blocked doorway on the north side and nesting boxes at the upper level on the west side.
