Description
21, 23, and 25 Silver Street are two houses that have been converted into three, likely built in the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble and topped with a pantile roof. They are two storeys high and have four bays. The corners feature quoins.
Between the first and second bays, there is a 20th-century part-glazed door set in a raised ashlar surround. Between the third and fourth bays, two 20th-century doors have replaced the original doorway. The sash windows are framed in raised ashlar surrounds, with the windows in the first and second bays (No 21) consisting of four panes, while the fourth bay (No 25) features top-hung casements that imitate sash windows. The building has shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. The brick stacks at both ends and in the centre have been rebuilt, with the central stack cemented. At the rear, there are 20th-century windows.
