Description

No. 49 Garston Street is a weaver's cottage, part of a row, built around 1800. The building features a rendered exterior with freestone detailing and a modern pantile roof, along with end brick stacks. It stands three stories high and has two bays. The door opening is framed by a chamfered square-headed stone architrave, leading to a six-panelled door. To the right of the entrance is a Victorian sash window with glazing bars set in a roll-moulded surround. The first and second floors have corresponding windows, with sashes on the first floor and side-hung wooden casements on the second.
