Description

Nos 6 and 7 in Quarr are two weavers' cottages that have been combined into a single dwelling. They date from around 1750 but were significantly modified around 1880. The cottages are built from Doulting Limestone rubble and feature a pantile roof with brick stacks. They are two stories tall, with each cottage having a single bay. The central area has two ovolo-moulded doorways that share a central jamb, but these entrances have been blocked. To the right, there is an ovolo-moulded surround to a casement window, while the other openings have late 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars set in plain surrounds. There is also a doorway on the left side.
