Description

This is a weaver's cottage, likely dating to around 1750. It is part of a row and built of limestone rubble with a roughcast finish, featuring freestone detailing, brick end stacks, and a pantile roof. The cottage exemplifies local artisan building traditions. It is two storeys high and has two bays. The front entrance has a raised stone surround with moulded edges and a glazed door. To the right of the entrance is a two-light mullion window, also with a perimeter moulding. Above are two further two-light mullion windows of a similar design, incorporating chamfers.
