Description

Nos 45 and 46 Garston Street are weaver's cottages built around 1750. They are constructed from limestone rubble with freestone detailing, featuring brick stacks and coped verges on kneelers, topped with a modern pantile roof. These are a pair of identical artisan cottages, each two storeys high and consisting of a single bay. Both doorways have square-headed moulded architraves, and there are similarly moulded two- and three-light mullion windows. Additionally, there is a two-light mullion window with an ovolo moulded design on the left return.
