Description

This is a circa 1650 weaver’s cottage, part of a row. It is detached from the rest of the row of similar structures. The cottage is constructed of Doulting limestone rubble with freestone detailing. It has a brick stack and coped verges on kneelers, topped with a pantile roof. The cottage is three storeys high and one bay wide. The entrance features a massive, moulded architrave with a squared hood. There are two-light stone mullioned windows.
