Description

Manor Farm East Dovecote is a dovecote dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Westmorland slate roof. The dovecote is octagonal in shape and has a plinth. There are steps leading up to a four-fielded-panel door. A first-floor band runs beneath a fixed window, and there is a moulded cornice at the top. The roof is hipped and topped with a cupola that has pigeon openings, an ogee roof, and a weather-vane shaped like a tiger.
