Description

Nordham House is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of North Cave. The building is constructed of yellow brick with a Westmorland slate roof. It is square in plan, arranged around a central-hallway entrance. The house has two storeys and three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door beneath a divided overlight, flanked by unequal nine-pane sash windows with glazing bars, all beneath wedge lintels. The first floor also has unequal nine-pane sashes beneath wedge lintels. The roof is hipped, with ridge stacks. A later extension to the right is not of particular interest.
