Description

Woodlands Farmhouse, originally built as one house and later divided into two, dates back to 1618 and 1620. It is constructed from Doulting Limestone rubble with squared quoins and has a modern pantile roof. The farmhouse features a 4-centred depressed arch chamfered doorway, which is flanked on the left by a 3-light mullion window and on the right by two 2-light openings, all of which are ovolo moulded. The second house has an inserted segmental arch doorway and two restored 2-light mullion windows to the right, along with 2- and 3-light mullioned windows on the first floor of both dwellings. All windows are adorned with angled dripmoulds above and the doors are made of planks.
