The dovecote at Number 5, known as Knob Hall, is an 18th-century structure located on the south side of Main Street in Barrowden. It is built of coursed rubble stone with quoins and features a Collyweston slate roof, which has two square wooden louvres. The dovecote is two stories high and divided into two square sections. The interior walls are lined with numerous tiers of holes and perches designed for doves. It has a six-bay tie beam roof, with a square opening in each gable and two doorways at the rear.
