Description

This is a two-storey cottage dated 1757. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with quoins and has a concrete tile roof, featuring moulded stone end stacks. The front elevation has two three-light casement windows on each floor, which are modern replacements. A central part-glazed door is positioned beneath a stone tablet inscribed “W.R.1757.” A single-storey, lean-to extension sits at the rear, and there is a rear stone stack. A former listing indicated the building’s prior location 60 yards northeast of Estate No. 10.
