Description

This is an early 18th-century cottage located near Stalbridge, Barrow Hill. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a tiled roof and a gable end. The cottage has a stone stack at one end and originally had a two-bay front with a two-light and a three-light wooden casement window, featuring glazing bars. A rectangular bay has been added to the right side. A central 20th-century door replaces the original entrance. The windows have wooden lintels. A 18th or 19th-century wing extends from the rear of the cottage.
