Description

Old Cider House Grove is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with gable ends and end brick stacks. There is a 19th-century stone addition to the west. The original front faces Grove Lane, and the house has a single pile plan. It stands two storeys tall and has a three-window range. The windows are two-light, leaded-light casements, except for the ground floor central window, which is a single-light, leaded-light casement that has been inserted into a blocked doorway. The western addition has an inter-locking tile roof and consists of two-window ranges.
