Description
The Post Office is a shop that likely dates back to the 18th century, with a front added in the 19th century. It features coursed rubble walls topped with a tiled roof and a brick stack at the gable end. The building is two stories high and has three window ranges on the upper floor. The ground floor showcases a projecting wooden shop front from the 19th century, which includes square panelled glazing. To the right of the shop front, there is a door leading to a passage, framed by a square head beneath a round-headed opening. On the upper floor, there are three 2-light casement windows with glazing bars, all set under wooden lintels. The eaves of the building are sprocketted. It appears that the roof pitch has been altered, suggesting there may be an earlier core to the structure.
