Description

The Pump House is a pumphouse dated 1885, constructed from coursed, squared rubble with stone dressings. It features a tiled roof adorned with decorative ridge tiles and is a single storey building. The gable faces the road and has double wooden doors set beneath an elliptically arched head, which includes a moulded drip course. The arch springs from a cavetto moulded string course at eaves height. The building has a plinth with capping, and the gables are topped with stone coping that terminates in a finial.
