Description

The Old Post House is a cottage dated 1752, constructed from red brick with a rubble stone plinth and a Welsh slate roof featuring brick ridge and end stacks. The building has two storeys and includes three 2-light leaded casements on the upper floor, with one likely added in the 19th century on the left side. On the ground floor, there is a 4-panelled door and two similar 2-light casements. To the left, there is a single-storey extension made of rubble stone, which also has a 4-panelled door. The ground floor features cambered lintels. The date 1752 is marked with the initials W.W. in dark bricks on the right end gable, which also has a small 1-light window below. The building is included for its group value.
