Description

Corner Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century to the 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a high painted rubble stone plinth and features a 20th-century plain tile roof with brick end stacks, one of which is located to the left and at the rear. The eaves are decorated with brick dentils. The building has two storeys and displays three diamond lattice horizontal sliding sash windows arranged as a 3-light, 2-light, and 3-light configuration. On the ground floor, there is a similar 4-light window on either side of a central door, which is set within a 20th-century stone and wood gabled porch topped with a Swithland slate roof.
