Description

Mayfield Farmhouse is a house dated 1791. It is constructed of red brick with a Welsh slate roof, brick ridge details, and brick stacks at the left and right ends. The eaves have decorative brick dentil detailing. The principal facade features two storeys with a central, three-light, centre-opening casement window above a partly glazed door, and similar three-light casement windows and a projecting lean-to. Two-storey wings project forward on the left, with further casement windows and a glazed door. A slate tablet dated 1791 is positioned centrally near the eaves.
