Description

The Church of All Saints is a Grade II* listed church located in Keyham, dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, with restoration in the 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar and rubble stone, featuring stone dressings and a Swithland slate roof. The east gable is stone-coped and topped with a cross finial. The church includes a west tower, nave, chancel, and south porch, with the tower having two stages, a west window with 19th-century stained glass, four two-light bell openings, a fleuron frieze, battlements, and panelled pinnacles.

Inside, the nave arch is double chamfered with polygonal responds, and there are three simple two-light Perpendicular windows on either side of the nave, likely renewed in the 19th century. A blocked north door features two head corbels above, which are probably re-set. The roof is a three-bay 20th-century tile beam structure that incorporates 16th-century moulded tie beams and possibly original carved principals. The chancel arch is also double chamfered, and the east window is a four-light mullion and transom design, with two-light windows to the north and south, all featuring late 19th to early 20th-century stained glass.

Additional features include a small piscina with a cusped arch, a plastered ceiling, and a south door with a four-centred arch. The late 19th-century south porch adds to the structure, while the interior contains an 18th-century pedestal vase font, Georgian Royal Arms on canvas, early 19th-century wall monuments, and a carved oak open chancel screen from 1894.
