Description

House. Dating to the late 16th and 17th centuries, Keyham Old Hall has undergone significant alterations in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a rubble stone plinth, stone dressings in parts, and a Welsh slate roof with stone and brick valley and end stacks. Brick coped gables are present. The main facade faces the rear, displaying three gables, with the one on the left likely a 19th-century addition. The three-storey main block has a basement and features three three-light renewed stone mullion windows on each of the upper floors, with the left side incorporating a two-storey canted bay. The ground floor has a seven-light mullion and transom canted bay, two three-light windows, and a blocked window in the plinth. A two-storey extension on the right end features a similar three-light window on each floor. The front entrance has a door under a four-centred arch, set within a 20th-century glazed porch. The windows are renewed stone and wooden mullioned designs.
