Description
The Cottage is a house dating from around 1700. It is constructed of red brick with a rubble stone plinth and features a thatched roof with two brick ridge stacks. The building has a brick band and moulded brick eaves. It stands two storeys high and has three 3-light horizontal sliding sash windows with painted mullions, along with a small 1-light casement window located to the centre left. On the ground floor, there is a 3-light casement window, a part-glazed door with a thatch canopy, and two wide 2-light windows. The left end of the house includes a 1½ storey extension with 3-light and 2-light casements. On the right end, there is a wide 2-light window on the first floor with a cambered lintel. There are also extensions to the rear.
