Description
The Greens is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century extension. It features a roughcast exterior and a thatched roof, with a brick stack set in from the left gable end and a stepped stack on the rear elevation. The layout consists of three cells and a cross passage facing west, with a gabled cross wing added to the south and an extended kitchen at the north end. The building is two storeys high with three bays, including an unlit gabled cross wing on the right (which is lit on the return) and an unlit projection on the left. It has 19th-century casement windows with two and three lights, and the entrance is located between the first and second bays on the left, featuring a lean-to thatched porch and a four-panel door. There is an outshut at the rear of the kitchen. The interior has not been viewed.
