Description

Long Acres is a cottage dating from the 17th century. It features a roughcast and colourwashed exterior over a two-bay timber frame, with single-storey extensions added to either side in the 20th century, all beneath a thatched roof. The southeast front has two 2-light wood casements on the first floor, and on the ground floor, there are two 3-light casements flanking a 20th-century door and porch, which has a gabled roof covered in clay tiles. To the right, there is a single old square pane window that illuminates the original stairs at a half level. The west gable displays a 17th-century chimney with a bread oven. Inside, some of the timber frame is exposed.
