Description

The entrance gates to Bill Hill, dating from the 18th century, consist of brick piers set on stone plinths, topped with a stone cornice and carved stone urns. These piers flank a wrought iron screen that sits on a dwarf wall, featuring plain railings with scroll panels and small urn finials. The central double gates include dog rails and a scroll lock rail. These gates serve as the entrance to Bill Hill house, which is listed separately in the Parish of St. Nicholas Hurst.
