Description
Middle Thatch is a cottage dating from the 17th century, which was restored in the 20th century. It features roughcast over random rubble and has a thatched roof with brick stacks at the gable ends and to the left of the cross passage. The building has three cells and a cross passage, facing west, with an extension at the northwest corner. It is two storeys high and has four bays, with three-light casements. The outer bay on the right has a full height projection with inserted two-light casements. The entrance is located to the right of the centre and features a 20th-century plank and stud door, with a porch supported by cantilevered stone slabs on wooden brackets, accessed by two steps. The interior has not been viewed.
