Farmhouse. C16, enlarged C17, undergoing major repairs at time of survey (May 1983). Red sandstone random rubble partially rendered, pantile roof, stone stacks left and right gable ends and to left of cross passage. 3 cell and cross passage plan facing South, staircase turret at rear containing straight flight of stairs, addition at North West corner. 2-storeys, window openings undergoing restoration at time of survey, 4 on first floor, groundfloor one to right of cross passage entrance, 3 in centre and one lighting smoke bay to left of inserted entrance. Interior: West end room contains chamfered bressumer across smoke bay at West end, chamfered beams with stops, centre room 6 panel moulded compartment ceiling, with moulded sub quartering and moulded rafters. Bedroom first floor South end contains fireplace recess painted with coloured geometric designs. Jointed cruck roof. (VAG Report, unpublished SRO,June 1981).
