Farmhouse. C16, enlarged C17. Red sandstone random rubble, thatched roof, brick stacks gable ends, stone on gable end of cross wing. Plan: 2 cell and cross passage, winder stairs to left of right gable end fireplace, single cell crosswing right, dairy wing at rear set into hillside. 2 storeys, 3 bays left of one bay unlit crosswing; 2 and 3-light C19 wooden casements, 3-light chamfered mullioned casement first floor in re-entrant angle of crosswing, groundfloor 3-light casements flanking plank door approached by 2 steps with pantiled gabled porch on shaped brackets, C20 window in place of doorway right in cross wing. Right return said to contain ovolo moulded 3-light mullioned window. Interior not viewed; said to contain chamfered beams with step and runout stops, 2 chamfered wooden doorframes, possibly a stud and plank partition to right wall of cross passage, depressed 4-centred arch lintel to first floor fireplace and possible remains of a jointed cruck truss.
