Farmhouse. C16 altered and enlarged C17, restored late C20. Red sandstone random rubble, rendered facade, roughcast returns, slate roof, decorative ridge tiles, external stack right gable end, brick stack to left of entrance against cross passage wall, large external stopped stack on rear wing. Sited East West, site slopes away to West, open hall derivative, long wing at rear therefore "T"-plan. 2-storeys, 4 bays; all windows on facade late C20 wooden 2- and 3- and 4-light with plate glass, entrance second bay right C20 plank door, gabled slate roofed random rubble porch, flight of 4 steps. Left and right returns have moulded 3-light mullion windows. Interior not viewed. Said to contain exposed jointed crucks, some rising from the ground floor, chamfered beams with variety of enriched stops, massive 4- centred arch door frame and square headed door frame with unusual moulding.
