Description
Kingsway is a cottage from the 18th century that was altered in the late 20th century. It features roughcast over rubble and a thatched roof that is hipped to the right, with a tall brick chimney rising from the eaves and the left gable end. There is a double Roman tiled outshut. The layout consists of two cells and a cross passage, with a single-storey, one-bay flat-roofed extension added to the right in the 20th century. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays, with 20th-century two-light casements and a central 20th-century door beneath a thatched hood. Despite the modern alterations, it remains an attractive small thatched cottage in a prominent position at one of the village entrances.
