Description

This is an early 19th-century house and shop, potentially incorporating an earlier dwelling, and altered in the mid-20th century. The front is roughcast over a rubble base. It has steeply pitched slate roofs with decorative bargeboards and finials, set with gable ends facing the road. The building has a parallel range with substantial additions to the rear.

The structure is two storeys and two bays wide. The upper floor has 12-pane sash windows. The ground floor has a 12-pane sash window to the left, and a projecting shop front to the right with three 5-pane windows and half-glazed double doors. The right return of the shop projection retains the remains of a modillion cornice. An arched doorway, with a panelled door and a blocked fanlight, is located to the left of centre.
