Description

No. 6 Hill Street is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of red sandstone random rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks at the gable ends. The building has a plan that consists of two cells and a cross passage. It stands two storeys high and features three bays. On the first floor, there are 12-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has segmental-headed two-light casements flanking a central six-panel door, which has glazing inserted in the top two panels. There is also a 20th-century gabled timber-hung porch.
