Description
No. 5 Leg Square is a town house, part of a row of three, built around 1750. It features a roughcast exterior and a slate roof with a brick stack at one end. The building has a symmetrical Georgian facade with three bays, two storeys, and an attic. The central doorway is framed by a chamfered stone architrave and topped with a triangular pediment supported by moulded brackets. The front door is a Victorian design with four panels. On either side of the door, there are tall 12-light flush-mounted sash windows. The first floor has a central 12-light sash window, with wider 16-light sash windows on either side, all of which are also flush-mounted.
