Description
This stable building, located about 5 metres east of Pipplepan Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed from coursed ham stone rubble and features a half-hipped thatched roof supported by a four-bay collar-beam roof structure. The south gable has a small doorway, while the east side has a blocked doorway flanked by unglazed shuttered windows, with a small vent located under the eaves. There is also a lean-to on the north side. The building is connected to Pipplepan Farmhouse by a high wall, contributing to its significant group value with the farmhouse.
