Description

This stable building, located about 30 metres north of Perren's Hill Farmhouse, likely dates from 1801. It is constructed from ham stone coursed rubble and features a corrugated sheet iron roof set between high coped gables, indicating that it may have originally had a thatched roof. The building was formerly two storeys, but the first floor has been removed. It has a three-bay collar trussed roof. There is a large garage door in the south gable, and the east wall has a central stable door flanked by a boarded window, both set under timber lintels. This stable is part of the 1801 farm complex and is included in the listing primarily for its significant group value.
