TINTINHULL CP ST. MARGARET'S ROAD (West side) ST4919 13/390 Gateway into Tintinhull Court in south east corner; and associated east and south boundary walls, churchyard of St. Margaret (formerly listed as wall and gatepiers, Tintinhull Court) 19.4.61

GV II

Gateway and boundary walling. C18. Ham stone, timber gates. Wall about 4 metres tall, cut and squared below, rubble above, with thin copings; square ashlar gate piers with moulded plinth, cornice mould tops, step and necked ball finials; C20 timber gates with concave curved top rails; 3 segmental stone steps in front. Wall has small curved sweeps down to piers, and after about 2 metres turns southwards to join north-east Corner of Tintinhull Court (q.v) which itself forms part of the south boundary to the churchyard. It is this gateway which may replace the C16 'Stonyn' late (q.v).
