Description

This building is a stable located about 10 yards west of Upper Lower House Farmhouse, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of fine coursed stone rubble and has a corrugated iron roof. The stable consists of one cell, is one storey high, and has an attic. The front gable end features a partial string course, with an entrance beneath a dripstone, accessed through a contemporary ledged and beaded door. There is also a window opening on the right-hand side wall. This stable is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
