Description

This stable, dating from the 18th century, is located approximately 1 metre west of Monks Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof. There are three stable entrances, each with stable doors and wooden lintels. To the left of the entrances, there is a small fixed light window, also with a wooden lintel. A loft door is situated in the right gable. The interior retains its original rafter roof with side purlins. A weather-vane is also present. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
