Description

This is a cottage located at 52 The Green, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone and ironstone rubble, topped with a tile roof and featuring brick stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The doorway, situated in the second bay from the left, has a wooden lintel and a 20th-century ridged plank door. All the windows are 20th-century wooden casements, with some retaining their original lintels. The roof tiles are arranged in bands of blue and dark red. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
