Description

58 and 59 The Green are two cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from squared uncoursed limestone and feature a tiled roof with stone stacks. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic and consist of two bays. The entrances are located at the side and have 20th-century doors, while the windows are also 20th-century casements. The roof tiles are laid in bands of blue and orange. There is a 20th-century extension to the right, which is also made of squared uncoursed limestone and is two storeys tall with one bay. These cottages are included for their group value and are part of the planned development of The Green from the 19th century.
