Description

No. 4 The Green is an 18th-century house that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from uncoursed limestone rubble and has a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic. The central doorway features a wooden lintel and a four-panel door, with windows on either side that have wooden lintels and 20th-century two-light wooden casements. There are gabled dormers that also have similar casements. The roof tiles are laid in alternating bands of blue and yellow. To the left, there is an extension dating from the 18th or 19th century, which is two storeys high, has one bay, a squared uncoursed limestone slate roof, and two-light casement windows.
